About me

My professional path

My journey into naturopathy began – as with many others – through personal experience. I had suffered from headaches since I was a child, which accompanied me for years. This led to numerous naturopathic methods being tried on me to alleviate my symptoms. From dietary changes to homeopathy, Bach flower remedies and herbal medicine to other alternative forms of therapy – since the age of six I have been able to experience the effects of naturopathy on my own body.

I started practicing Tai Chi and Qi Gong at the age of 16, which further shaped my view of body, mind and health. The final decision to work in naturopathy came after two formative journeys at the age of 19: an Ayurveda trip to Sri Lanka and a Tai Chi training course in Andalusia. These experiences inspired me to start training as a naturopath immediately after graduating from high school.

I completed further training as an Ayurvedic therapist during my training as a non-medical practitioner. Between 2004 and 2007, I gained valuable practical experience in two assistant positions, which gave me a deeper insight into phytotherapy, laboratory diagnostics (blood, stool and urine analyses) as well as infusion and injection therapies.

I opened my first own practice in Hamburg-Eilbek in 2007. As I was already working closely with external colleagues there, who complemented my treatment methods, I decided to set up a joint practice in 2009. This resulted in the Naturheilzentrum Rotherbaum at Schlüterstraße 12, which I ran until 2018.

Over the years, my therapy has continued to develop. While my initial focus was on bio-resonance, homeopathy and phytotherapy, my focus increasingly shifted to gut health, micronutrient and mitochondrial therapy. The gut is a central building block for health – it determines what the body absorbs or excretes and has a significant influence on the immune system, hormone balance and the supply of micronutrients.

But beyond the gut, there are many fundamental factors that contribute to health:

  • Nutrition
  • Movement
  • Sleep
  • Breathing
  • Relaxation & recreation
  • Reduction of electrosmog
  • Stress management
  • Mental hygiene & self-reflection

My approach has always been holistic, individually tailored to the person and stress-free. Working as a naturopath was not just a profession for me, but a true calling. It offered me an incredible variety and the opportunity to constantly develop – both professionally and personally. Each patient brought with them a unique combination of symptoms, character traits and challenges, which allowed me to constantly gain new experiences.

In 2018, I finally decided to take a new career path and moved to Montenegro with my partner. Today I work here as a real estate agent and support people who want to emigrate to Montenegro or buy a property.

However, as my naturopathic heart beats naturally within me, I try to pass on my knowledge to people who want to help themselves.

My private path

I was born in 1980 and grew up in the countryside in northern Germany, which shaped my deep connection to nature. I lived and worked in Hamburg for over 20 years, where I also met my life partner.

A few years later, we decided to emigrate to Montenegro together and settled in the coastal town of Bar in 2018. This is where we started our family and had two wonderful children.

Today we enjoy our life in Montenegro between two fascinating worlds – the breathtaking coast with sea views and the idyllic north of the country, surrounded by impressive forests.
